FINAL REFLECTION
Experience
This 14 weeks has certainly been an eye opening experience. Typography is probably my very first and last design module, since I'm taking it as a free elective. It was a fun experience, I got to develop my creativity skills and further enhance my knowledge on the different typography and design topics. The lectures and classes were certainly very helpful and interesting. I've also gained a lot through self research and explorations on different typography topics as well. Although online learning is not easy, I'm glad everything worked out.
Observation
Typography sounds like a simple subject, but it requires a lot more effort when doing the different exercises and tasks. Especially for someone like me who is new to the field, sometimes it can be quite tedious, since we have to pay attention to every little details and constantly make amendments to our work. The fonts we see and use almost everyday actually takes way more effort to develop then i thought, and I'm glad I finally got to create my very own font.
Findings
This module has certainly enhanced and refreshed my skills on Adobe softwares like Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. One great lesson I've learned through this module is to accept criticism, and allow change, in order to improve and do better in my work. Overall, I'm satisfied with my work as I've put it all my effort into the tasks and exercises, and tried my utmost best to comply with all the instructions given.
